The explicit purpose of this personal website is to showcase my writing.
Every man comes to a point in life when he finally pauses to ask himself, what is the one thing he
did that was most gratifying in life?
This point, rather junction, came to me recently, and I didn't need more than a minute to answer it. I find a certain
ethereal peace and sentient solace in traveling and writing about my travel. My heart begins to race when I start to pack
my bags and either fuel up my car, or head to the nearest airport. As Sarah Mchlachlan rightly says, it's 'fumbling towards
ecstasy'. Travel, writing and cooking are my methylenedioxymethamphetamines. Needless to say, my TV is always tuned to Travel
& Living channel, my coffee table always has the latest issue of Outlook Traveler, Emeril Lagasse is my idol in the kitchen
and the Mahindra Scorpio is my favorite SUV (it's stylish and rugged, yet cheap enough to risk serious off-roading).
I have clocked thousands of kilometers on the road in South India, as I live in Bangalore. Internationally, I have traveled
across the United States, Europe, Africa and very little of Asia (only India and the Maldives). In addition to travel articles,
I also write children's stories, poetry (won an award for that), cooking recipes and management books.
I have written many travel articles, and published one in the Deccan Chronicle when I was in Hyderabad. I hope to find
many more places to contribute my articles and all help in this direction will be greatly appreciated.
On the links in the left vertical navigation bar, you will find samples, first chapters or book outlines I am currently
working on. As some of these are already published works, I feel they are best suited to understand my capability. It
will be my pleasure if you take a few minutes to peruse each article.
